Those who know me are well aware that I am far from an animal activist. I personally just think that we have so many other pressing issues we could be addressing with humans and our suffering, diseases, war, racism, and all the other -isms etc. that animal rights is really a white elitist's pet project (no pun intended). That was until I came across this documentary, that not only was brilliantly put together by passionate people but it unveiled such an unthinkable horror it made my stomach turn. People need to be made aware of this atrocity and demand something be done about it! The documentary is called The Cove and documents the secret slaughtering of dolphins in Japan and the sale of the dolphin meat to the unsuspecting Japanese population.
